AES is affiliated with Birkbeck, University of London– one of the largest colleges of the University of London. Through this partnership, students will be able to pick from courses in humanities, social sciences, communications and business with a view of taking one to four courses each semester. These are conducted and supervised by University of London teaching staff, transcripts verifying the courses taken and grades awarded will also come from Birkbeck.
You can choose from approximately 10 different course options. Internship participants will also enrol in Birkbeck’s Work-based Learning Seminar, which serves as a compulsory, reflective learning component of the internship, and is integral to the assessment of the internship placement. Transcripts for these courses will be issued by Birkbeck for credit transfer purposes. AES will ensure that your students have the correct paperwork so they can apply for the UK student visa enabling them to legally undertake study and an internship in the UK.
